    Default Success and a question

This is my first free hand free motion quilting attempt. I didn't trace the pattern - I decided to just go for it. Not perfect but I'm pleased!

Also, I'm using a double needle for the first time. I want to do a single straight stitch using the double needle. Is this what the back should look like? I'm not sure I like the back.

It will zig zag on the back, but the threads there look a bit too loose, so it stands out more.

My first attempt at FMQ wasn't nearly as good as yours! Kudos!

The backing will always be a ladder effect because you have 2 top threads using the 1 bobbin thread.
Good job on the FMQ !

FMQ with a double needle? I've never done that. the stitches on the back will always look double so to speak.
    Interesting.

I like the idea of using a double needle....I have done it several times, but always on wall hangings, so really nobody but me sees the back.

Nice FMQ. And yes the back is zig zagged when using the double needle.
