    Default Summer Bliss

This is the first queen size quilt I have ever pieced. I usually don't go larger than a twin size but I fell in love with this pattern. It is called Summer Bliss and was the cover picture on the August 2012 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting. It took me several months to accumulate all the different fabrics. I bought a half a yard of this and a yard of that in lots and lots of different places and I dipped into my stash for some pieces that I already had. I was so afraid that it wasn't going to look right since the quilt in the magazine used a fabric collection. I think it turned out nice and I can't wait to get it quilted. I'm going to load it onto my quilt frame tomorrow for machine quilting. The quilt is made up of only two blocks and they are very very large blocks so it does work up fast. Thanks for looking!
