    Must say, it has a certain charm - in a Southpark kind of way. Remember the Calvin and Hobbes snowmen? This would be the quilter's version.

    That is hilarious! I'm not a sunbonnet sue fan either. I do love Edward Gorey cartoons, and have the Gashly Crumb Tinies scanned for future projects. :-D

    Me too re Gorey. I subscribe to the New Yorker, mainly for their cartoons - also loved Chas Adams, God rest his soul

    I love Sue, I have a quilt top of her I made in the "70's and 2 kits to do....she is like the paperdolls we used to dress up....I love the oldie but goodies...

    I saw this quilt at the Penescola Fl quilt show last winter. I took pictures of several of the blocks. I especially liked the block where Sue is stung by the bees. The maker has an amazing imagination.

    Oh, I love it! A big yes to the macabre sense of humour. I'm torn between the coffin and the python.........and the 'cannibal cook pot'. Wonderful! Thanks for a great laugh. I'll be saving this one.
