Has anyone seen the wonderful Sue quilt which gives the story of her miserable life? The only specific block I remember is "Sue Goes on Jerry Springer". The quilt is really sick, and really funny.

One thing about quilting & life is everyboby is intitled to their own opinions. If this made you laugh good. If it bothers you, you have had your say & just unwatch this topic so you don't have to see it anymore. Good gosh the lady was just sharing a gift from a friend.

I'm with you, Sister! I detest Sunbonnet Sue. Don't really know why--she's just too darned sweet. I love this quilt! Made me laugh out loud! For those of you who don't like it, it's a JOKE--lighten up! There's something in the play "The Quilters" about a girl who does something to Sunbonnet Sue--I think it's the best line in the whole play. Apparently dislike of SS is not a new thing!

I'm laughing in spite of myself! I saw some quilt blocks in a magazine years ago with pictures from "Mystery" on PBS - with the fainting lady on the tomb. Did anyone else see those? I wish they'd have given the pattern!

The history of the quilt and close-ups of each block with the quilter's name can be viewed at
