    My Mother spent years doing these. She never put them into a quilt. When she died, I searched everywhere for them but they were gone. A tragedy for me. I love this applique.

    We know many men quilt now, but it's so cool to hear about men who quilted/pieced/appliqued all those years ago. Kudos to his mom or other female in his life who encouraged this activity. And thank you for sharing the story and quilt!
