    Default Sunbonnet Sue --finally delivered

Yea--I finally got the sunbonnet sue quilt delivered to the customer. the first pic is the quilt she brought in that she had bought several years ago for another grandchild. The second picture is the quilt that I made--using mostly scraps although the border and backing fabric is actually white on white sunbonnet sue print. We shall see if she returns for another bigger quilt for herself-- the price I quoted her made her gasp a little bit --oh, well. Enjoy.

reminds me of the Sunbonnet Sue I made my youngest girl for her 2nd birthday---pattern looks the same only i added different items in her hand for each block--a butterfly net, a mirror, her grandpa/ violin, a cat etc.

How much would you charge for one of these? Did you machine quilt it??

I love Sunbonnet Sue and yours is beautiuful. It looks a lot like one I made and gave to a family member for her little girl. I'm wanting to make another one.
