    I love it. You did a beautiful job. I wish I had the know-how and patients to do something like this. You should be very proud of your accomplishment.

    Well, the pattern is something of a hybrid of different patterns. I used an Ohio star and a Christmas star pattern, I saw the sashing effect from another quilt pattern and modified it for this one, used a Marti Mitchell template for the border, and added the plain fabric. When I put it together I wasn't sure what kind of trapunto I was going to do or whether I was going to do applique. Trapunto won out. So, there isn't really one pattern for the whole thing. Maybe I should write it all down into one?
