Otherwise, everything was in my stash and had been bought on sale. I used Quilters Dream wool and a combination of different threads - signature, sulky, rayon, and So Fine. I wish I could get better details in the pictures. It wound up being 92" square. I'm binding it today (snow day from work again!) and will then soak it to dissolve the thread used in the trapunto process and to get rid of the rest of the blue marking pen.
make the trapunto...how will the design remain? Or did you use the dissolving thread to hold the "trapunto sandwich" together first, before sewing with regular thread to make the design?
You made that georgeous quilt in less than a month? WOW!

Wonderful first attempt at trapunto. My first attempt was just a few feathers in each corner of the quilt - nothing as beautiful as this. I did use the dissolveable thread as you seem to have, and it was an asset, Next time I am only going to use it in the bobbin, to save on cost. I really like the way your designs enhance the quilt.
