    What you did is perfect! This farm wife loves the Dresden sunflowers. I love the colors, pattern and your quilting! This is a treasure!

    Absolutely gorgeous! Love the colors, design, and quilting. Wonderful that you used so many different fabrics to make this quilt. It really makes the difference. Love it!

    In response to whether the dresden plates are appliqued, yes the blades and the center both are hand appliqued on a background 12" finished square. I sewed the blades together on the machine and then appliqued them on the background square.
