    There is another quilt on this board called Happy Daisies, this is a variation of that. Its motif is a flower, I wanted something more gender neutral, so I tried different designs and decided on this. After beginning this quilt, I realized that the sun design was very similar to the daisy - both have a central circle with petals/rays coming out.

    I'm thinking of trying one, for a boy, that has the Batman emblem as the motif. I guess you could use almost any symmetrical design.
