Default Sunny Lanes - A Pat Speth pattern

I took a class from Pat Speth, author of Nickel Quilts, in June. I finally finished the quilt top. I thoroughly enjoyed piecing this quilt all the way to the end. I can't wait to make another of her patterns. They are well written and easy to understand. She add tips along the way to make things easy. I learned a lot from her!

I can't decide if it needs a border....

    Thanks for looking!

Simply beautiful I've taken 2 of her workshops as she's been to our guild 2x. Fast, fun patterns. Have done several of her patterns.

This is beautiful. I vote for a border.

I really like your quilt and your quilt inspector! It looks very difficult. I think I might like her book.

Very nice. I definitely vote for a border also, although I generally lean that way.

That is really pretty...i love the colors. I think you could go with or without a border.../lissa

Very pretty! I'd go for a border too. I often do mine with a narrow inner border and wider outer border to "frame" it up. Something not too busy so it doesn't distract from the center.

Audition some fabrics and try folding them to various widths to see what looks good.

Very nice, I really like the variation of the 16 patch from the pattern that I got a few years ago. Thanks for sharing the photo and author's name.
