    Default Sunny SunBonnet Sue

A former customer that orders from me often called 3 weeks ago needing a baby quilt by the first weekend in July. Normally I dont like to work on such a short time table but being that she's a good customer I took on the task and pushed my other orders to the side. I used my EQ7 to work up a few designs with her suggestions and this is what we settled on. Do you ever ask yourself why, I was asking myself that while making all of these pinwheels, why oh why did I put these in the pattern. Although they were time consuming it was well worth the effort. She wanted a fluffy quilt so we decided on the simple quilting as to not take away from the quilt design itself. We also agreed on totally machine pieced but I just thought Little miss Sue would look better hand appliqued. Delivering the quilt was hard because I wanted to keep it for myself. The owner (the one with the big cheesy grin) was overwhelmed and fell in love with Sue also.

It's lovely! This is one of the prettiest baby quilts I've seen and I love the soft colors. Beautiful work!

You wanted to keep it simple so, lets make pin wheels, hand applique and scallops. I'd like to see what you would do if you had more time! This little quilt is adorable and will be cherished for ever.
