Default Super quick baby quilt top

Was reading posts earlier today in the main section and saw one asking for suggestions of big blocks for the back of a quilt. One mentioned a tutorial by Jeni Baker for a Giant Vintage Star. I followed the link and decided that would be perfect for a quick baby quilt. I used 9" squares instead of 18" ones and only two fabrics.

Had hoped the stripes in the center would come out a bit more matchy-matchy but like it anyway!

I love it! That was one of the first patterns I made when I started quilting. I'm so glad you tried it out.

Here is my 4 color version before I sewed the blocks together. It first had to be inspected by Dr Girlfriend.

Great top! This is also one of my favorite quick patterns. I did a tutorial for a 48" version here:

Add borders & you have a quick throw.

You did a great job with the stripes. I like the Jacob's Ladder scrappy quilt underneath too. Stunning with using black as the chain.
