YES!! Saw this at one of the local churches a few years back. When I first saw it my breath was literally taken away. And he is such a nice man. He spent so much time walking me thru the process and pointing out all the neat little things about this quilt. It is a must see for anyone! You will never forget it.

This was at the Houston Quilt Festival one year and hung above the rest of the quilts-it looks like a painting if you cannot see it up close. Amazing is all I can say.

Seen it before and still in awe. Not a picture in the world can do this quilt justice. It is a jaw-dropper.

If I remember correctly he said that the quilter had to quilt in a very awkward way because it was the only way she could get it on the machine.

Yes, I have met he and Mrs. Locke when the quilt was displayed at Stichen Heaven here in Quitman. His wife is a jewel. The picture of them is about a 3x4 ft. and is also made from the small squares. Looks just like them.Unless he has done something in the last year or so these are the only 2 he has made.

A group of us quilters were blessed to see and admire his rendition, it is incredible. If you ever have a opportunity to see this, do not pass up the chance.

I saw this and visited with him at a quilt show in Dallas. Linda Taylor did the quilting for him. His quilt is one of those things that takes your breath away when you see it.
