I got a kit from Craftsy in Batiks also and I too have Plenty of fabric. I can see why it is done that way thought. A mistake in precuts sometimes means you've lost the whole square. Your star is so bright and pretty. Will be waiting to see it finished.

Beautiful star. I only had one kit from connecting threads and I had a lot of fabrics left.

well he moved so was able to get the border on
he`s 13 so doesn`t stay in one spot long

Very nice quilt. Love Craftsy quilt kits...and they often have sales on them. Love your dog! We are dog less now. Our dog, Onyx, died last year right before Christmas. Miss his lovin’.
