    I think your jacket it fabulous. I really want to make one after looking at yours. Oh, no, another project for my "to
    do list". Did you have a pattern or did you just wing it? :thumbup:

    Thank you all for looking and for the kind words.
    It took me a while to work up the nerve to try the jacket but I studied the tutorial that UGLYCOOK posted, it is great.
    I picked up a sweatshirt last yr for $2 and thought what the hey!!
    I cut the shirt as shown in the tutorial and then just began covering the flat surface of the shirt with strips of fabric. Made the sleeves 3/4 length and used a bias binding. Piece of cake.
    I am going to make another so I will be able to remember how to do it. lol
