    Default Sweet brick quilt

I needed to do some mindless sewing a couple of weeks ago and this fit the bill. I had a Mini Rag Quilt Kit, that I kept looking at thinking it would be a good way to learn to make a rag quilt. I kept dragging my feet on getting started on it. I realized I really didn't want to make a rag quilt at all, so I took the bricks and made this instead. The lighter color was supposed to be the back of the rag and I just alternated the neutral with the colored fabric. It turned out really sweet! It's flannel on the front and cotton on the back. I quilted it with a loops & flower pattern; a nice alternative to a stipple.

It's very pleasing. What a good example you are for doing what appeals to you.
