earlier in this thread Maggie Sue thought that it started out with one large white circle and then they appliqued the center on. That is how I would have to do it,I am not smart enough to figure out the white border lol.
Had to edit...If it is a boy, how cute would it be with a train going around the border, or monkeys hanging of branches..or..or..

Oh my God...would that be adorable with trains! I am wondering how big the white circle is....I am thinking maybe about 42 in diameter? ...or maybe a hair bigger? I am like you I would have to appliqué the center on....appliqué is my passion. Thanks for searching!

    Hi
I would think that if you don't want any seams it couldn't be bigger than the width of the fabric.
I think I will have to try one with the train, even though I don't know anybody who has a babyboy right now lol.

Thanks! I didn't think about not having seams!! Good point! So definitely no bigger than 44/45"......unless you buy wide backing to make it bigger but I really don't think you would want to make it bigger than regular with fabric for a baby quilt. You could use a round table cloth for a pattern to cut the circle ...or an actual pattern for a round table cloth to cut the circle? Now we have to work on templates for the center...
