    This is so pretty! I love all your bright cheerful colors against the white background. How is your Applique applied? I’m on my phone so I can’t see if it’s needle turn by hand, machine stitched or raw edge. Anyway you’ve done a marvelous job of making it and figuring out how to. I can usually figure a pattern out too and that’s good because once I make one of a pattern I like the challenge of tackling something different. What size did you make this?

    toogie, I call it fake applique. I use 911FF interfacing, sew around, turn and then use a glue stick to apply. I think it's the way Lori Holt teaches it but, I put the adhesive side next to the fabric not the backing. I like flat appliques. Then I hand stitch around once the glue dries. I haven't measured it yet. But of course, I wish I had added one more row. Maybe next time. My diamonds are cut from 3" strips.
