Sweet Tea pattern
I just finished completing this top that I started in a class at my favorite quilt shop. It was the latest Easy as Pie project. Several times a year they have a class, which is more like a mini retreat, where they choose a simple pattern, so everyone can get a lot done from 6 p.m. to midnight. It is by Basic Grey, and I used an older jelly roll by Sweetwater called Authentic. I was so impressed that all the blocks ended up being the same size and they were easy to put together!

Thanks, Jan. I haven't taken a picture of the finished top since we haven't had any sun for days. I did it just like the pattern says to. It seemed to take as long to arrange the blocks as it did to sew them together! It was hard to keep from putting the same color centers next to each other or the same print.

Thanks, ctrysass! The size I made would have ended up being almost square, so I added another row to get it to be rectangular. You only use 1 jelly roll strip per block, so I didn't use a whole jelly roll.
