SheriR ... if you start from the beginning, you'll have a very good read! They read like a story, and some of the questions you have in the later chapters (visits) are there in the earlier reports. Granny_59 and MrGranny have done so much for the Sri Lankan people and made $$$s go so much further by doing it without NGO involvement!! They truly are amazing!
That's exactly what I did. It was fascinating, amazing, and exciting.

That's right, SheriR ... how could I forget that you had started to read them when I posted the other thread!
Can you imagine me working with them?
I was anxiously awaiting to find out what happened to who, next!!!
.... and sometimes had to wait for Granny_59 had not translanted it from German to English!
And now, it's worse, as I have to wait for her to go to Sri Lanka each time!!!![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
Hope you will continue to follow the continuing stories!![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

Dear SheriR
I cant believe you read through the whole srilankahelp.com !? And compliments on that project mean a lot more to me than compliments for my quilting!! And compliments for my quilting mean the world to me...........lol
Yeah, its October and it would be great to be in Sri Lanka. But DH was only able to take off one week because of a lot of work and we will have to wait till March (March 6. to be exact :-) ) But we where skyping with our friends in Colombo today and and our godsons (Madhuka) sister gets married on Octobre 24th. He is in constant touch with us and promissed to send pics.
BTW: we spend the week with our two older grandsons in the black forest and had a great time. Being in Sri Lanka also means to skype with the grandsons..............I had all four of them in the bathtub tonight and that feels great too.
I always have to smile how QuiltE is talking her contribution to our Sri Lanka page small and my quilting big. Her work was far beyond proofreading and looking at her quilting it is easy for her to acknowledge the work of others :-)

You're bringing tears to my eyes again, Granny_59!!
Stop It Stop It Stop It !!!!! ... you're the superstar in all this!
Well, that'd be you and MrGranny, as without the two of you nothing would have ever happened.
The two of you have made such BIG differences in so many peoples lives!
Oh dear ... you really should have gone to that wedding!!!!!!
And I bet Bomali has a new fancy dress for the occasion, too!

I am sure that our contribution to Dulini`s wedding will also cover for a brand new fancy dress for Bomali! And to know that we ARE THERE in the heart of the people makes up for everything.
And something else: as I cant ask back my TWO RED CANADIAN RIBBON WINNER I will make a twin for sure and will quilt it next March in Sri Lanka..............
Have to drop in bed and will answer your mail tomorrow night.
Granny
BTW: I think the twin will be smaller. Well not in overall size........but maybe a couple of more blocks in it. rofl.
