oh come on............I am a very tired grandma, nothing else! A very happy tired grandma. And yes, I should have gone to the wedding, but I cant be at both ends at the same time!?
I am sure that our contribution to Dulini`s wedding will also cover for a brand new fancy dress for Bomali! And to know that we ARE THERE in the heart of the people makes up for everything.
And something else: as I cant ask back my TWO RED CANADIAN RIBBON WINNER I will make a twin for sure and will quilt it next March in Sri Lanka..............
Have to drop in bed and will answer your mail tomorrow night.

And in the meantime has some special little Grandsons to love and care for.
Oh my .... a twin to come! ... though I suspect it will be teenier and tiny-er than the prototype!

I just edited my post: BTW: the twin will be smaller. Well not in overall size, but maybe a couple of more blocks. rofl.
YOU KNOW ME SO WELL!! And no problem about the Elefant: Manika is a personal friend also and I meet her every time. She is the one enjoying the complimentary fruitbasket

OMG ... I can only imagine HOW SMALL this will become.
So much for MINI ... it'll probably be a MICRO-MINI!

granny_59 - Yes I read some each night before I slept. You are one very talented woman and the generosity and compassion you and MrGranny have for the people of Shri Lanka is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and adventures. I'm happy for you to be spending time with your grand babies. That is my number ONE favorite thing to do now!! I suppose I can wait until after march to read more AND see a new granny creation. ![Big Grin](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/biggrin.png)
AND QuiltE, thank you for sharing the friendship you and have granny with us. You are a true friend! I chuckled when I read you were tearing up. My own tears were welling at that moment and I had a nice chuckle. The marvelous quilt is well to look at. The story y'all have shared warms my heart!

SheriR ... while Granny and MrG and I have never met, they ahve become very special. We did share a lot of laughter and tears as we worked on the "reports". Emails flew back and forth ... and me, being as curious as I was, had many questions beyond what is in the reports. I really was the LUCKY one to have "met" Granny here, and started down this path. What a remarkable journey it has been ... absolutely no regrets. Not at all! So, make a note on your calendar to check the site next spring, and we'll have the next report waiting for you as soon as Granny gets herself back on Swiss time!!
