Swoon like variation for DGD's wedding
I made this quilt for my granddaughters wedding last month. I asked her which colors she'd like, she said "cream, gold, light brown and various shades of green" Now that's what I like, no guessing!
This pattern was a free tutorial at www.doublenickelquilts.blogspot.com. I couldn't get the link for the exact page to work, just search the blog for scrappy nickel dutch rose. I like the size of these blocks, 16 inches, and she came up with some brilliant changes that eliminated several seams. I also like the secondary pattern that emerged with the addition of sashing and cornerstones. The bride and groom were happy too!

I love it!! I have been admiring the swoon block for a long time and really do want to make it. I love it done in these colors. And I couldn't agree more with Deb, your feathered border has such motion and is so well done. Definitely a delicious hunk 'o eye candy.
