    She looks proud of what she has made & has a right to be. It is awesome & she has done a fantastic job. Great job Sidney. Keep up the good work. You are on your way to being a great quilter.

    Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement. Sydney was so taken aback. Today she used scissors for the very first time. I gave her mine to try, but they were too big and so wouldn't cut. My sister told me to go to Walmart and pick up a pair of Fiskars that are made for children in different sizes and sharpness. I bought a pair that said "12 years and up/beginner" in pink of course. We came home, unwrapped them and off she went! This girl cuts better than I do!!! She is absolutely a natural!
