Your quilt is beautiful. I love the fabric colors you used. How does it work when you quilt it at the lqs? Do you leave it on the frame? How long did it take you to quilt? Do other people quilt on this when you are not there?

What an accomplishment! You should be so proud with your work of art.

FabStripper the LQS owner helps to load the quilt top on the frame, sets up the design and then I quilt it on her HQ16. I quilted an edge to edge design, its all computerized so not hard at all. This one took all day as it was so long. I have quilted several tops so am now familiar with the machine and don't require too much assistance.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, this is the third large sampler quilter I have made, just one more to finish and I think I am almost over sampler quilts

Kudos to you for completing this wonderful quilt! The FWS is on my bucket list. But I think Sylvia has more complex blocks than FW. Your quilt is lovely and you will get years of enjoyment both using it and staring at it as there is so much to look at.

feline fanatic I have made the Farmers Wife Sampler also the Farmers Wife Pony Club quilts and I think that Sylvia was a bit easier. Just take it one block at a time, you can do it
