I recently finished a table runner class. I am clueless why a chicken is associated with September but it turned out to be my favorite one.

Your table runner is wonderful. Did you applique it and if so, what kind?

The roosters, eggs and bottom trim are done in applique. The strips behind the roosters are pieced. I used the buttonhole stitch on my Bernina (there are two and I used the one that does not appear as the thickest stitching). We used Steam-A-Seam 2 for our appliques in the class.
