    Thank you all for the help I learned a lot about y seams making this table runner for my daughter.. She loves it :)

    Lovely table runner. My first thought was to ask about the pattern. Then I read about 'Y' seams. Forgot that. I don't think 'Y' seams like me.

    Actually that is what I felt when I first tried this pattern however I was directed to several tutorials on y-seams from the ladies on this board and now I feel very comfortable with doing y-seams. Just go to You-tube and search Y-seams. there are several techniques. Drawing all the lines where the seams are to meet and sewing from the center of the Y outwards were the two most crucial elements that helped me.

    That's beautiful. Wow--y seams and stripes. Two things I avoid at all costs. Thanks for mentioning the tutorials; I'll have to check them out. Great job!
