    I would definitely keep this one. It's beautiful! I, too, like taking classes in person. I'm always impressed with how they seem to find neat shortcuts and tips to make the patterns work better and make more sense.

    The pattern is Come Fly With Me, designed by Karen Montgomery for The Quilt Company. The instructor had a sample with black and white print stripes and red geese, also one with multiple green batiks for strips and multiple blue batiks for geese. Another was purple batik strips with green batik geese (all same fabric). Each one is class was so different. You can actually make two runners from a jelly roll.
