    Here is a table runner I made from "mistake" blocks. I was trying to make them 12 1/2" but goofed and they came out 11". So, I made them again, in the correct size and made two more in the a"wrong" size and made the table runner.

    what a great "mistake"!!!! I love your table runner (I recognize the block in your avatar too) The colors are perfect for the upcoming 4th of July holiday!
