    Default Table topper

One of the ladies in our sewing group gave us a charm pack with a challenge for Christmas. The challenge was to make something with the charm pack before our second meeting in February. We had to use at least half the charms, and you could add fabric if you chose to do so. This is what I came up with for the challenge. I am giving it to my daughter because she has orange walls in her dining room. It was fun to do. I had originally planned to just sew the squares together and bind. It looked kind of plain and after adding the stars and borders, I was happy with the outcome. The brown does not jump out so much in person.
