My daughter loves Lighthouses. I saw this kit and knew she would love it. I had never done a kit before, so was surprised at the amount of fabric that was included. Also ended up with two more lighthouses to do something with (pillows??). I could not believe how quickly it went together! Woops its sideways!

What a nice mom. I too used my first boughten kit this past fall. It came with 1/2 inch extra fabric, the other pieces had even smaller amounts of extra. I was not pleased. If I had cut even one piece wrong, I would have run out of fabric. And it was not a cheap kit either, I bought it at a LQS on a Shop Hop. (this local shop was almost 3 hours from my home)
I am glad your experience was better than mine.
