    Default "Take Four"...

My daughter put me on to this pattern "Take Four" fat quarter friendly placemat set by Cary Flanagan. I used 2 fat quarters, 1/2 yd (soft Xmas print), & 1 yd green pindot fabric. They are fast & easy; there are 4 versions (I did version 1), which I will eventually make all. So, I had Xmas & pindot left, no fat quarter pieces leftover. So, I used the 2 leftovers & made a runner, too. All are backed & bound with the pindot. Backs can be used all year round. Double use on all! That's one way to get on top of secretly multiplying scraps! So, here's what I did today.........
