Default Take Six or Just Six

At the end of January I posted a picture I found online to see if any of you knew what the pattern was. Thanks to all of your great comments and the help of a dear friend, I finished the quilt without a pattern and gave it to my son and his fiancée at their shower on Sunday. It wowed everyone there and I just want to say thank you again for all the help.

Forgot to mention I used eight fabrics instead of six as I wanted the boxes to be deeper, and have more gradation. Strips were cut at 1 3/4.

I remember you posting about that and I mentally added it to my to-do list. Seeing how great yours turned out makes me sure I want to try that – soon! Thanks for sharing.
