Several board members have asked me to post my finished quilt...so here it is!

I posted it originally at this link: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-130136-1.htm but that had to be moved to Personal Diaries and Announcements because it had a request on it. (If you'd like to see that please go to that site.)

Many thanks to all that helped me along the way with this quilt! I took much of your advice and am really happy with the results. It's 54 x 70 inches. It's a summer quilt or coverlet as there is no batting. The flannel on the back though gives it some weight and is very soft and warm.
It was machine quilted with the exception of the hand quilted flowers on the darker green squares. My first attempts at hand quilting...so don't look too close! ;)

First time to make a label on my printer...and it worked so well!

Lovely quilt, hand quilting looks great!!! I'm not good about making labels and I should try the printing method.

Your handquilting is fabulous, I would never know it was your first attempt ... you have a natural talent.

    Lovely quilt with matching sentiment.

No kidding! I really had to read it again because I thought the flowers were FMQ-ed.

You did a fabulous job on this, and we could all tell you poured your heart into it. Mary is going to love and treasure it for years.
