I am teaching my sister-in-law to quilt. She calls it Barb's Quilting 101. She already sews, and is picking it up quickly. We are having a good time and plan to continue a couple times a month. After two afternoons, she produced this quilt for a local charity. It is simple, but very well constructed. Quilted with SID and a simple grid in the center. Next she wants to tackle a large wall hanging for above her couch. I'm pround of her!

How fun to pass on a love of quilting to your sister in law and to gain a quilt buddy twice a month is way cool!
