I am making a quilt for my sister's first baby girl and here it is pinned together not sewn yet or ironed please excuse the wrinkles. What do you think of it?

I love the center - very creative and unique.

I think the pink inner border is too light to balance the center and the white outer border will get too dirty when dragged around (which you hope it will be!).

I'll be interested in what others think. But it will be beautiful no matter what you do and your sister will love it.

I agree with IrishNY, and think you might want to add more to the center or go larger with the scale in the center piece. It's going to be great and your sister and baby will absolutely adore it!

I'm no help. I know it will be loved and will show the love you share for the child. But for help, none. I see it as you have it and then my mind says that is how it should be.

I think it's great you made your own design. Lots of color too. Why not add a few butterflies and maybe a smiling sun in between the polka dots?

Add butterflies, dragonflies, lady bugs and more higher flowers. Think of it as a picture of nature. Go on line and find pictures and blow them up and use them for patterns. Bugs etc......Later the baby can "name those things"!!!

I agree with everyone here, maybe a strawberry Pink and the light pink with black butterflies would pop the other colors.
    it looks great nice patterns

Cute design. Yes, larger scale and more graphics would really enhance. Ar ethe polka dots supposed to be balloons in the air? If so, how about embroidering some string trailing as well? They're gonna love it!

It's lovely but I think you need more dots. It looks like it is missing something.

Like the idea of a yellow sun maybe just in the corner. or maybe putting it over the whole corner including borders. A brighter color where the pink is, how about minimal spots and or flowers on he white border. A few fussy cut butterflies in girly colors sparsley placed that could add a specialty to the primary color feel. Although I think bright colors works for all kids.
