I like this. Was the pattern difficult? Looks like just 4 triangles inside each block, BUt I am horrible at getting things to line up, which it looks like this pattern requires skill at.

I made one much like that with pinks, greens, and purples a number of years ago and it sold before I even got a picture of it. Thanks for reminding me. (where did my mind go anyway?) I love your colors. Just beautiful.

Beautiful, love the colours and layout. It looks like your version has more form to the spokes or leaves (the triangular bits!) than I've seen in other versions. I really like it. :-D

The pattern was a little tedious. I started with squares (4 inch, I think) and sewed the whole thing up. Then I made a smaller square template with perpendicular lines at an angle and set where those lines crossed at where the sewn squares met. After cutting the whole thing out and sewing it together again, I made another square template and cut the quilt up again at an angle. Then I had to sew it all up again. By then there were lots of seams to match!

I know that doesn't make much sense. Maybe you can find a copy of Square Dance, Fancy Quilts from Plain Squares by Martha Thompson for a better explanation.

    Beautiful!

I don't know about you, but I'm READY for fall weather! Heat index is over a 100 here too....

Your quilt is so pretty - don't think I would have patience to do it. You did a great job.

Fall sounds good to me also - I've never liked hot weather. Heat index is also 100 - 105 here for the next few days.
