    I've been following your journey, too... I'm glad you persevered! The fabric is so gorgeous you had to keep going, and the pattern is just stunning! It will be a work of art when you have it completed- we are so lucky to have such a great group of wonderful sharing minds here!

    Your blocks are so unique and they look so challenging. So glad you stuck with it and kept on going as it is going to be a beautiful quilt. Gorgeous purple fabric. I have been following your posts and I am very interested to see more.

    I usually only starch once. I do it Before it is cut. Your blocks are gorgeous. The contrast is really striking.

    Purple is my favorite color. Can't wait to see this finished. If I might ask what are the final measurement for your strips and triangles?

    the one square is 4x4 - it is paper pieced. One of the triangles the strip size is 2 inches (including seam allowance) and for the other triangle the strip size is 1.5 inches (including seam allowance). Doing the block pattern in EQ7 and then paper piecing it has been super easy.


    So I need 4 squares to make a "block" It takes about 30 minutes to make a block
