    I agree, it is not a flag but a wonderful representation of the great state of Texas, no wonder your DH loves it.

    So wonderful that you could quilt the top that your gram made...is she the one that taught you to quilt?

    yes she was..thats her with me in my avitar picture. She has dementia now..can't remember what she has for lunch 5 minutes ago..but i love her so.

    Since my "Texas Flag" quilt is just not quite right~looks like I'll have to make another one...Oh Darn! =) I honestly had not thought to look before I got the idea in my head of what I wanted. But...no worries. It must be right in Honor of the Great State of Texas!

    I still think your quilt says Texas, but I think your husband might enjoy a wall hanging or lap quilt with a longhorn theme! You can find UT fabric sometimes. but I've seen several with neat applique work. (You might even include a photo of him from his glory days! Hook 'em!

    Oh wow, while the news was on about the Chili miners, I always wondered why they had the texas flag. Now I know they didnt. They are very much alike lol.
