I fell in love w/that pattern from the moment I first saw it, but just couldn't afford to buy it. Yours turned out spectacular! I no longer live in TX, but lived there for 17 yrs & would love to move back some day.

Love this quilt...have made 1 and beginning on my second...I kept the lst for us, have it in my den....love to look at it...Alice Whiloit is the designer on this pattern...it is a notebook size pattern but very clear in detail and I called her several times and she is most helpful....I also hand quilted it. Do try the pattern...it is worth all the work...the only trouble I had was finding the stripped fabric that Texas Our Texas set on...Alice gave me the name of the shop that had stripped ticking and love the texture it gave to the quilt....just Love Texas....memepeggy

Wow! I would love to make it. Not experienced enough, yet. Hubby loves this quilt, but would use it in rv. Don't know, too much work.
I saw it as BOM at Celeste with Alice Wilhoit teaching! Oh, I wanted to do that with a friend. One hour drive each way for me. Yikes! Friend couldn't do it as she was still working. She will retire in May, but I don't think Alice teaches the class at that shop, now.
