Come on in SewSunshine! It's a big group, we would love to have you. I don't make it to all meetings but if I'm there, introduce yourself to me and I'll introduce you to the gals I know. I will try to wear the same shirt. I think the next meeting there will be people talking about their quilts to the group and reading the judges comments. We meet at Bayview Senior Center the 4th Thursday @9 and 4th Monday Night @6-6:30

I challenged myself with the colors. I lean toward the water colors of blues and aquas. Cherrywood did the work on the colors. I purchased a yard pack of their hand dyed fabrics that run from Chartreuse to Magenta. It took searching A&E for about two hours before I found the Paula Nadelstern pattern, Palindromes which is what I named my quilt. A funny thing was I thought the fabric was non directional and cut all the X shapes. Started assembling and rats, it was directional. Rushed back to A&E and purchased the rest of the bolt. Luckily it was on sale the second time around. Recut the centers, with a plan this time, and now I have swiss cheese. Who knows what other quilt will come of the scraps. Too good for the free table.

Aren't you the lucky one!! Your quilts are beautiful and can't imagine what the winner of #1 and #2 did to win.
