Bueniebabe, I sent it Priority Mail Express International. I can track it on-line, someone must sign for it upon delivery and it carries $100 of insurance. I valued it at $40 for customs purposes and declared it as a "blanket." The cost was $70.05. Obviously, if it goes missing, I'm just out of luck. I was warned not to value it at its full worth because the recipients might have to pay a lot of duty tax and or it might get stolen. I don't know if those are valid worries, but I thought I wouldn't take the chance.
The tracking service said it was delivered this morning. It took seven days. I hope we hear from our friends. They live in a condo, so it might have been the concierge who signed for it.
