    SillySusan, Minkie is a super soft material that sheds really bad when cut. Hobby Lobby has it. I sometime make scarfs out of it. It is lovely as a backing.

    Adorable. I wish I had seen this a few years ago, it would have been perfect for my little butterfly lover. I know your little one will love it too. Oh and I think your right about QB, it is a treasure trove of information as well as very entertaining.

    Love the bright colors, especially for children's quilts. You did an awesome job. Never attempted monkey yet for that very reason, however if I do it seems I better use a rain coat.lol

    So beautiful! I most certainly agree about all the help from QB.

    As for the minky binding, once you cut it put it in the dryer briefly to get rid of the fuzz.
