    A couple of weeks ago, I bought some fabric at a yard sale, and as I was looking it over, I decided that some of it would make decent placemats. Since my son and his family are coming for Thanksgiving, I wanted to make something the kids would enjoy. I just wish I could actually sew a straight line. :(

    Is that an old sewing machine they're photographed on???
    Whatever it is, looks really nice! :)

    Yes, it is an old Singer 101 c. 1930 in cabinet style 42 (I think). It was another yard sale find.
