Default There really are no mistakes when quilting

I had a foggy brain day, and after sewing strips to create four patch squares, I cut them wrong. Fortunately had plenty of fabric to get the quilt done, but now I had a lot of 4 patch rectangles I needed to find a use for.

A relative living in Alaska is having a baby, so a bright baby quilt seemed like just the ticket. And all the pieces were already cut! Had fun putting it together, and quilting the “belly buttons” was just a giggle! Finished quilt will arrive before the baby, something that doesn’t happen often in this house!

Babys love bright colors and this is just the ticket. Great find for your rectangles and a cute, quick result.
