    OMGosh, that is toooooooooooo cute :thumbup: I was waiting to see a "real" dog, but I think this is wayyyyyyyyyyy cuter! This quilt is sure to be loved.

    Thanks everyone for your kind words. The pattern of the dog was from McCalls Quilting Magazine April 2005. I hope it is still available to purchase online somehow.

    It was called Puppy Love. Although I used the template for the applique dog, I didn't make the background like the pattern. Their background was long, wide strips going vertically, and I had fabric in smaller, brick sized pieces. Used what I had, you know.....

    That is wonderful! Now you make me want to make one. That may be the cutest dog applique I've ever seen, and you did it beautifully!

    I couldn't locate it on google. Perhaps Craftybear would be better at it than I am. I will just keep watching this site and hopefully, someone will come up with the applique pattern. Thanks so much.
