    Tommy Lane used to make beautiful Thimble cages. They can be found at Quilt Shows or maybe find her web site. I have one I purchased about 25 years ago from her, when she was in Boone, NC.

    Smallwondersjewelry.com has reasonably priced thimble cages. He also makes thimbles and a stitchers tool that I use every day and Love.

    Just to clarify my posting. Being left-handed has nothing to do with how the thimble works. The reason I mentioned it was it is the only other thing I got from my grandmother. I got her thimble and the trait of being left-handed - that's it.
