    Default Think pink

I sorted my scraps by color and decided to try going thru one color at a time. First up is the pinks. I made the blue and pink with the Open Options
next came the pineapple blocks. Not enough of the cute bird fabrics for all block so the surrounding ones have plain white strips. I made one too many with the birds. So that one got a quick border for a doll quilt.
still more pink to use which will be something with either brown or black

These are wonderful! Love the pattern on that first one. And also love how you improvised the design for your available fabric on the second one. And of course the doll quilt is darling. Good for you, attacking the scraps! I know it must feel very satisfying.

Sew Beautiful! I had to look up the Open Options quilt pattern because I liked it so much. Yours turned out great.
Have fun sewing your next color and keep us posted.

Good organized way to clean up your scraps in a purposeful way. Away they go! And you already have a plan for the remaining pink. Good for you! Yeah!

These are so pretty! I've never heard of Open Options before, so had to look that up. Now I need that pattern!

I've always liked pink with brown, it's a very warm and cozy combination. Pink and black is very striking, so that would be a good way to go as well.

    Thank you for sharing.

Like some, I had to look up Open Options. They all came out great! The pineapple has never appealed to me until now. Maybe it never was seen in the right colors. I really like yours. Good job on all.

Lovely work again! I also looked up that pattern, very similar to Gudrun’s from GE designs Kira pattern.
