    My husband and I visited the LSU Rural Life Museum today. There was a small quilt show, and I did take pictures of a couple of quilts, but even more interesting to me were the old sewing machines and other textile artifacts.

    What an interesting place. Thanks for taking us with you! That very old machine with the foot-shaped treadle almost looks like it was used for something other than domestic sewing.

    I visited there a few years ago and love it but was not into quilting at the time so would like to go back someday
