How nice that you made a new friendship. She is lucky to live close enough to get you to quilt. Your quilting is wonderful. Her quilt is beautiful also.

I truly believe the good Lord puts people in our paths for a reason. This world is very small!! I love the way you accented her blocks. Each day when I climb aboard the quilt board, the first thing I do is I check to see if you've posted anything. If you have, I take a look, savor your offering for a while then move on. Thanks once more for sharing your beautiful creations.

What a great story - and a beautiful quilt - I live in a rural small town so I understand the "big city" and everyone in your town related to everyone. Sounds like you made a great new friend.

I absolutely adore the quilting that you did, and especially the story that goes along with it. Living far away from any family and leaving all my friends has been hard, so this story brings joy to my heart.
